Decorating Laundry Room Antiques - Have your ever thought if you added them up by the end of each week, about just how many hours you spend in your laundry room? There are very few days that go by without doing a minumum of one load of laundry, in the event you are like me. This being the situation, it makes perfect sense to decorate your laundry room in a fashion or subject that pleases you and helps the chore of doing laundry a little more gratifying.
What pleases and makes you joyful your eyes? Can it be the color red, the beach, antiques, graphics? The very first step to decorating your laundry room is always to pick a theme. Whether a classic them or a tropical theme, carry it out through your whole laundry room.
For instance, I decorated my laundry room in a classic theme. On my neutral coloured walls, I put a collection of a faux antique piece of artwork and also classic washboards on a single wall on another wall. I also added a few authentic old irons on a shelf blended in with classic detergent boxes. To continue my classic subject, I added an antique looking wallpaper border close to the ceiling with old looking washboards and irons on it.
I added a number of weathered baskets and greenery on very top of the cabinetry over the washer and dryer, to give the space a cheerful look. I put coordinating throw rugs on the tiled floor to cushion and comfort my feet while I am doing laundry. Finally, I added the perfect window treatment make my laundry room seem complete and to let simply the proper amount of light in. Laminate flooring, vinyl flooring, and ceramic tile are a great alternative.
