Laundry Room Storage Cubbies - There are very few days that go by without doing a minumum of one load of laundry in case you are like me.
What makes you joyful and pleases your eyes? Could it be the shore, antiques, graphics, the color red? Whatever it's, just don't forget that you just don't have to decorate your laundry room in the same style or subject as the rest of your house. To decorating your laundry room, the very first step would be to choose a theme. Whether it be a tropical theme or a vintage them, carry it out through your complete laundry room.
As an example, I decorated my laundry room in a vintage theme. On my neutral colored walls, I placed an assortment of a faux antique piece of art and vintage washboards on one wall on another wall. Additionally, I added a few real old irons on a ledge blended in with vintage detergent boxes. To continue my vintage subject, I added an antique appearing wallpaper border close to the ceiling with old appearing irons and washboards on it.
To provide the room a cheerful appearance, I added a number of weathered baskets and greenery on top of the cabinetry above the washer and drier. I put organizing throw rugs on the tiled flooring to cushion and comfort my feet while I'm doing laundry. Finally, I added the perfect window treatment to let just the right amount of light in and make my laundry room seem whole. Be sure the flooring is forgiving of spills. Laminate flooring vinyl flooring, and ceramic tile are an excellent alternative.
