Red Black And White Laundry Room - There are very few days that go by without doing a minumum of one load of laundry if you're like me. This being the situation, it makes perfect sense to decorate your laundry room in a fashion or theme that pleases you and helps the chore of doing laundry a little more pleasurable.
What makes you joyful and pleases your eyes? Can it be the color red, the beach, antiques, artwork? Whatever it's, remember that you just don't have to decorate your laundry room in the same fashion or theme as the remainder of your house. Step one to decorating your laundry room is to select a theme. Whether it be a vintage them or a tropical theme, carry it out through your entire laundry room.
For example, I decorated my laundry room in a vintage theme. On another wall, I put a number of vintage washboards on one wall and a faux antique piece of artwork on my neutral colored walls. I also added a few real old irons on a shelf blended in with detergent boxes that were vintage. To continue my vintage theme, I added an antique looking wallpaper border near the ceiling with old looking washboards and irons about it.
To give the room a cheerful look, I added an assortment of weathered baskets and greenery at the very top of the cabinetry above the washer and dryer. I placed coordinating while I am doing laundry, throw rugs on the tiled floor comfort and to cushion my feet. Eventually, I added the perfect window treatment make my laundry room appear complete and to let simply the proper amount of light in. Be sure the flooring is forgiving of spills. Ceramic tile, laminate flooring, and vinyl flooring really are a good alternative.
