Laundry Room Lighting Gardenweb - Have your ever thought if you added up them at the end of each week, about just how many hours you spend in your laundry room? There are very few days that go by without doing at least one load of laundry if you are like me.
What makes you joyful and pleases your eyes? Could it be the color red, the shore, antiques, art? To decorating your laundry room, the very first step is always to choose on a theme. Whether it be a classic them or a tropical motif, carry it out through your entire laundry room.
For instance, my laundry room was decorated by me in a classic theme. On my neutral colored walls, I placed a number of a faux antique piece of art as well as classic washboards on one wall on another wall. Additionally, I added a few authentic old irons on a shelf mixed in with detergent boxes that were classic. To continue my classic theme, I added an antique appearing wallpaper border close to the ceiling with old appearing washboards and irons onto it.
I added an assortment of weathered baskets and greenery on very top of the cabinetry over the washer and dryer, to provide the area a cheerful look. I put organizing throw rugs on the tiled flooring comfort and to cushion my feet while I am doing laundry. Finally, I added an ideal window treatment to let only the right amount of light in and make my laundry room seem whole. Ceramic tile, laminate flooring, and vinyl flooring really are a great choice.
