There are very few days that go by without doing at least one load of laundry, in the event you're like me. This being the case, it makes perfect sense to decorate your laundry room in subject or a fashion that pleases you and helps the chore of doing laundry a bit more pleasurable.
What pleases and makes you happy your eyes? Could it be the beach, antiques, artwork, the colour red? The initial step to decorating your laundry room would be to choose on a theme. Whether a vintage them or a tropical motif, carry it out through your whole laundry room.
As an example, my laundry room was decorated by me in a vintage theme. On my neutral colored walls, I put an assortment of a faux antique piece of artwork along with vintage washboards on a single wall on another wall. I also added a few bona fide old irons on a ledge mixed in with detergent cartons that were vintage. I added an antique appearing wallpaper border near the ceiling with old appearing washboards and irons onto it to continue my vintage subject.
To give the room a cheerful appearance, I added a number of greenery and weathered baskets on most notable of the cabinetry above the washer and drier. I placed coordinating while I'm doing laundry, throw rugs on the tiled flooring comfort and to cushion my feet. Finally, I added the perfect window treatment to let only the proper amount of light in and make my laundry room look whole. Be sure the flooring is forgiving of spills. Ceramic tile, laminate flooring, and vinyl flooring are a good option.
